悼念建国总理-----李光耀（2）

在举国同哀的时刻，以最最最虔诚之心，向建国之父李光耀先生献上最最最深的敬意与谢意。是他，造就了自力更生的新加坡；是他，造就了自强不息的新加坡；是他，让新加坡公民拿着护照在161个免签证的国家来去自如；是他，让所有的新加坡人能在世人面前无比自豪地说出自己的国名。他为我们营造了一个神话似的世外桃源，让我们在这“双心国度”里，“住得安心、活得舒心”。
感恩、惜福。
建国之父李光耀先生，一路走好。

                                                             Aranda Lee Kuan Yew

                                                              Vanda Kwa Geok Choo

Aranda Lee Kuan Yew (李光耀蜻蜓万代兰) is a vigorous and robust new hybrid. It produces flower sprays that bear up to ten flowers each, with each bloom measuring about 9.5 cm to 10.5 cm across. The sepals and petals are bright greenish golden yellow with light tessellations and a tinge of white at the base. Each bloom is complemented by a contrasting light brown waxy lip.

The Aranda Lee Kuan Yew is well-matched with an earlier Singapore Botanic Gardens orchid hybrid named after Mrs Lee, Vanda Kwa Geok Choo（柯玉芝万代兰）, in terms of colour, form and stature. Both hybrids share a few species in both their lineages, namely Vanda dearei, Vanda sanderiana and Vanda curvifolia.
